India Clean Air Connect is a response to air quality convenings hosted by the India Climate Collaborative, Clean Air Fund, ClimateWorks Foundation and Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation in 2019 and 2020.

Job description
Applications from eligible & interested candidates are invited for engagement of R & D project staffs via OFFLINE INTERVIEW for the following purely temporary positions of Project Associate –II in the Project Titled “Air Pollution Impact Assessment Study for Preparation of Sectorial Guidelines for the Stone Crushers in the Roopwas and Bayana Tehsils of Bharatpur District, Rajasthan (under TTZ Area).
The desired candidate should have knowledge of- Air quality monitoring, Data Collection from field and Data analysis using advance statistical tool, Air Quality dispersion modelling.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology (Civil/Environmental) from a recognized University or equivalent or MSc (Environmental Science/Management/C hemical/ Chemistry) from a recognized university or equivalent 2 years’ work experience in R&D in the relevant areas from Industrial & academic institutions, Or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities/services
About the organisation
The CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI) is a research institute created and funded by Government of India. It was established in Nagpur in 1958 with focus on water supply, sewage disposal, communicable diseases and to some extent on industrial pollution and occupational diseases found common in post-independent India. NEERI is a pioneer laboratory in the field of environmental science and engineering and part of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). NEERI has five zonal laboratories at Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. NEERI falls under the Ministry of Science and Technology (India) of central government. The NEERI is an important partner organisation in India's POPs national implementation plan (NIP).
NEERI is devoted to research and innovations in environmental science and engineering besides solving a range of problems posed by industry, government and public.
