India Clean Air Connect is a response to air quality convenings hosted by the India Climate Collaborative, Clean Air Fund, ClimateWorks Foundation and Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation in 2019 and 2020.

Job description
ITDP India is looking to hire a Research Intern - Healthy Streets with an interest in research on urban design, urban planning, transport systems, or public policy. The ideal candidate must be passionate about creating streets and cities that prioritises walking, cycling, and public transport, proficient in preparing high-quality graphic content, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The selected candidate will work closely with ITDP India’s programmatic team that is working in Chennai.
Eligibility
- A degree in urban design, urban planning, or other relevant fields.
- Post-graduate degree in a similar discipline will be an advantage.
- Excellent graphic skills to effectively communicate ideas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office is required. Knowledge of GIS would be a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Preference is given to those with prior experience in the urban development/transport sector.
- Ability to communicate in Tamil.
